A Holistic View of Accreditation to Augment University and Faculty Competitiveness

Abstract: A Holistic View of Accreditation to Augment university and Faculty Competitiveness Accreditation is not only a marketing tool for institutions to attract students, it is a testament to proactive and high-quality curriculum design and delivery. It tells your students, their families, the community and the world that your institution is serious about education. But, all too often, the application for accreditation is seen as a hurdle to overcome as opposed to being an opportunity for inward looking self-assessment and an opportunity to develop meaningful strategic plans for continuous improvement. Handled correctly, the accreditation process is a win-win-win exercise. The university wins, the faculty/ies win and the students win. Karl will walk through a recent case study illustrating the befits of accreditation and it power to raise differentiation and competitiveness.
